King's celebrates Annual Day 2010

On 26 March 2010, we celebrated our annual day which is both Graduation Day and Sports Day. Our Chief Guest was Mrs Parimala Tharsius, Inspectress of Matriculation Schools, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts. King's Matriculation School is in a rural area in Kondanagarm village, Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu. There are 220 students enrolled in classes ranging from nursery and pre-primary right up to lower secondary. We aim to progressively become a full secondary school by 2013 with an enrollment of 500 as our oldest students move up each year. Standard VIII is the highest level offered this year.

The school was founded with a clear vision to impart knowledge, wisdom, counselling and guidance in a conducive environment. Everything we do is aimed at inculcating love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control in the children who attend our school. Despite taking in children from families with financial constraints and little formal education, we aim for high standards of academic excellence. We do not compromise on the quality and content of the curriculum. Creative teaching methods as well as modern laboratories and facilities are used. We also have an excellent teaching faculty.
