Our school was founded by Dr Johnson Balasingh who died suddenly in 2007. He was principal of St John's College, Palayamkottai where he taught for 36 years. He moved on to the position of director of the PSN College of Engineering in Tirunelveli district for two years. Besides being principal of St John's Balasingh also held the positions of secretary, correspondent and chief warden of hostels.
